"1/285 Air, Super Tucano" Topic

1/285 Air, Super Tucano

I am looking for some very good air sculpts of modern air units, including helicopters and fixed-wing that would be used in the middle east, very likely.

for example, Super Tucano, Apache Longbow, UH60L Blackhawk, OH58D Kiowa Warrior, F-22 F-35 whatever will be used for close support.

Basically, I am trying to get items that are as good but less expensive than GHQ. I've found some CinC that look very nice.

If you have a specific kit that you have seen and worked with yourself, then please post. Not interested in "saw this on shapeways" type replies, please.

The only company I know that makes the F-22, other than GHQ, is H&R. I like CinC for any aircraft model they make.

Second the CinC range. Crisply cast, but at times with multiple parts. Their Great War planes are like mini-model kits, but their more modern planes are a bit easier to deal with. For example the Tornado (from memory) was fuselage, wings, and tail.

MSD offers a F-22 and F-35, but not the Super Tucano, which is likely to be a tough get. You might try searching on Shapeways. Prairie Hawk Gamer, a Shapeways seller, has some great modern stuff. Helicopters will also be a challenge outside of GHQ.

I-94, in the Raiden range, makes some very nice 1/285 models but nothing as new as the F22, F35 or the Super Tucano

Take a look at Small Scale Shop on Shapeways. They do a nice Super Tacano.
