Question:

The $50 USD regiment shows 9 figures. It looks to be cheaper than buying the three sets of three figures each. Shouldn't the regiment include the officer as well to make a $5 USD per figure deal?

Very nice.

FlyXwire07 Feb 2018 8:31 a.m. PST

Wonderful!

Thanks for including the link too, for some reason I haven't been able to access your cavalry figures offered via a link on your webpage (actually, this linked webpage seems to be a different one?).

Will you be at Cold Wars or will anyone that you know of be selling them at Cold Wars? They are beautiful!

The regimental deal includes 11 different figures including the officer, so that works out to $4.55 USD per horse and rider versus $5.00 USD per figure if you buy the individual packs to get all 11 figures. That's a 9% discount. When the introductory price goes back to the normal $6.00 USD per horse and rider you are getting a 24% discount. The price change will probably be in May.

I hadn't finished painting the two figures wearing hunting shirts at the time of this post, so that's why you only see 9 figures.

I will be at the SYW convention with the full range of AWI and SYW figures. I won't be at Cold Wars nor do I use a rep for other conventions.

I can ship orders the next day after receiving them.

Those are really nice figures.

Jim, I'll be in touch after next pay dat at the end of the month!

How about a tutorial on how you paint horses?
I'm fine with my humans, but I can never acheive the shades and coloring you get.

If you have the old Bruce Quarrie Miniature Wargames book, he has a whole chart on different horse types and colors.

Just weeks ago Jim released these new figure. All casted and new and shinny. And Jim's siren like voice called to me. "Look Mark, what wonderful new figures I have. You really need these Don't you. You just have to have these and your armies will not be complete until you have them. And look, I made special packs at a special price." Yup, and like a fashion model at a buffett I couldn't help myself. In record time they were in my mail box and on my painting table .
