My painting table right now. 2mm Napoleonics started. 15mm Napoleonics (Marines of the Guard). 6mm Colonials getting basing. BMP1s awaiting varnish, BMP2s awaiting basing. Plus a Celtic village. I'm using the plinths as fields (never really understood the point of those plinths). Plus a variety of other odds and ends, as usual.

You've got a freakin' Time Traveler's World War going on there. What rules are you planning to use for that mish-mash? Might I suggest "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids and They Are Really Mad", aka HIST KaTARM. |

Your photo belies your headline: that's an extremely well-organized table. Everything in it's place, and a place for everything! Rick |

It's not half as chaotic as mine …. |

Well, by my standard that's practically a sign of the apocalypse. Should have it all finished this week though, then back to neat and tidy! |

I too have a tendency to juggle different projects and units at the same time. By doing so I'm never waiting for paint to dry. I can just move on to the next and once I come back to the beginning of the rotation that unit is ready for it's next coat. If you have room I'd suggest getting a few hard plastic cutting boards. Each of my units has its own board and I have a shelf next to the desk I can store them so the desk stays neat……well relatively neat. Glad to see you have so much fun stuff going on and happy hobbying! |
