Goes without saying…..

Yet another superb piece of work.

Are you happy with Photobucket as the forum to view your work further? I always want to magnify your images to learn more and copy your skills, but I immediately find I am way off what is intended.

Why does Front Rank insist on repeating that officer pose? The chap looking over his left shoulder, sword at a daft angle.

Like so many others. Great casting, superb moulding, not a trace of flash or ejection pins, almost no seam lines to file down. Production beats Perrys hands down.

Except for proportions, anatomy….and the lack of variety in poses.

Paxx, I have copied your work so many times and learnt much from your postings. You totally transform a range that is actually getting so much better, I do admit

I agree with deadhead, Paxx and Rafa set the bar for painting here on TMP. There are others as well. I have copied ideas and techniques from them both.
Front Rank, hands down best molded figures around. Poses are ok for me.
I hav eot say Photo bucket, I do Not like. I get advertising, pop ups, I just want to see you figures!
I use imageshack myself.
Great work once again Paxx!

I can only second wrgmr1 – great brushwork!

Excellent once again.

Also not sure why photobucket is necessary though, given blogspot lets you upload as many photos as you like for free.

Thanks all.

deadhead- reference Photobucket I am not happy with the site pop ups and increasing costs to use the site, I used to use Imageshack but until 5 -6 years ago they changed the the lay out and the way you accessed your images which made it far to complicated for me. The picture hosting websites are all getting crazy-they offered free storage years ago but now they have become a victim of their own success and now want to charge sometime uoto $400 USD-500 per year. They are heading for customer meltdown-why host images just buy eternal hard drives and keep the images at home and upload direct.

Markconz- I must admit (blushing) i was unaware that i could directly upload to blogspot Doh! I will look at changing my px accordlingly.

Front Rank figures- Great production and and superbly manufacturered figures -ready to paint from the box. The poses on the older ranges could do with some updating but I am sure Alex is working his way through them. The new ranges are excellent Prussians and new packs of Brits & French.

Nice figures! Coolt to see some 6th Hussars, as they are on my painting list as they're in the same brigade as the 8th Chasseurs that I painted up for 1812. I really like Front Rank infantry, but I must admit that I find their infantry to be a notch more to my taste than their cavalry.

Regarding image hosting, I find imgur to work very well for publishing (and even basic editing) of pics of miniatures.
