A point well made Richard I'll change that to 'most people' lol and particularly me! Seems its not me its the Microsoft EDGE browser installed on the other halfs laptop, its something designed for the 'phone' generation ie people who don't actually do anything even vaguely technical with a computer other than check on their cartoon 'cats' and upload pics of their dinners lol. SWMBO is giving me a 'look'. What are we all going to do without the Guild? :o( L |

Yep Leon. MS are frustrating the hell out of me. I held onto internet explorer as long as I could but it for the stage where various websites were so problematic on it that I was often switching to the edge browser and they would work fine. In the end I got frustrated enough that I went to Edge. re the Guild it was a very dark day. On the same day I also lost a small (but by a long way the best) forum on SYW and WAS. If you are on Facebook then find me and I'll connect you to a group of ex-Guilders and some other focused groups that may help spread the news about these great figures. Richard |

Hello Richard, Ah didn't realise the Edge was widespread out there just assumed it was some weirdness the other half had done to her newish laptop. Firefox/Thunderbird ( the software not the puppets, though actually :) ) man myself. Yes the hobby is changing faster and faster these days with the technology everything needs to be cut down into 'phone screen' sized chunks including it appears the depth of content and attention span lol I'm going to see what the Wargamers website is like, been a member for a good while just not had the time to get on there and suss it out so will use the Guild time to try it out. Sculpting looks absolutely first rate. Better than any of the stuff Warlord has been churning out lately. Hopefully they will convince some folks to abandon 28mm. I hope the trip to Paris has inspired you to do some French! |

Maha Bandula, Well a lot of really bad 28mms out there, look at the Empress Miniatures done by Paul Hicks to see what the scale quality should really be like :) Needless to say I prefer 20mm myself, just looks right size wise and reduced footprint always an advantage. L |

Wonderful figures, well on par with AB which have for many years set the standard IMO in 20mm . |
