The Team Yankee model of the Hind helicopter can be built with the landing gear either up or down. Which do you prefer?

I have mine up.

Yes if it's the air gear up …

ScottS03 Feb 2018 9:33 a.m. PST

Down, so I can put it on the table when it lands and store it on a shelf between games without worrying about it falling off of its base.

Up or down, down or up?

Sigh. This wouldn't be a problem if the Hind has skids like the Cobra or non-retractable wheels like the Apache.

Good points Scott and 28 … I'm all about model "survivability" on and off the table …

alan L04 Feb 2018 2:16 a.m. PST

What about 2 models for the one helo, or is that extravagent (surely not a word in the wargaming parlance!)?

They should make the model with retractable wheels!

cosmicbank04 Feb 2018 8:41 p.m. PST

I have two old metal Hinds in 1/100 wheels retract
