"NECA/WizKids is happy to announce more brand-new content for Star Trek: Attack Wing, releasing February 2018, continuing the popular new product line called Faction Packs. Faction Packs resemble Starter Sets in packaging and design but focus on one particular Faction within Star Trek: Attack Wing.
The newest Faction Pack is the Independents Faction Pack. In the most recent rulebook, from the Federation vs. Klingons Starter Set, Factions are now divided up into Prime Factions and Sub-Factions. While Independents remains a Prime Faction, the Ferengi are now a Sub-Faction of Independents and count as Independents for all of the rules. However, prime Faction ships do not count as sub-Faction unless otherwise stated. This new Independents Faction Pack focuses on the Ferengi sub-Faction.
