The latest sculpt from Lucid eye – not yet in production but should be with us in the next week or so.
Vashel Golden hand is just one of the main characters from a new Skirmish game being written by Rick Priestly in cooperation with the guys at Lucid Eye. The figures are on the large size – a good 40mm tall and are of course specifically designed with the new game in mind. Further details to come but in the mean time if you would like to see the current Lucid Eye range, click here: link |

Fantastic figure. Shame he's so large. I now hope I can convert something up once I find other elves in 28mm truescale. |

40mm is so passe, the new wave is "Heroic 40mm"! |

Is he 40mm scale, or just literally 40mm tall with that helmet? The other Red Book elf is listed as 28mm in the link. |

Thanks for the comments. I apologise for the misleading information regarding the size of the figure. Yes, the figure is 40mm to the top of his helmet. The 'scale' is officially heroic 28mm which translates to 32mm to eye level. I think that I wanted to make clear that the figures for the 'Red Book of The Elf king' will be larger than some representations of elves from other manufactures. All will be made clear as the rest of the range is released, as well as, of course, the rules set… Here's a better comparison with some of the other figures in the Lucid Eye range. I hope that this helps. link |

Much better. Even 32 is a scale creep I tend to dislike, since I have too many old true 25s to mix with. Tall Elvish' heroes I can deal with |
