These look awesome. If I was still doing 28mm I'd be very tempted.

Dan you'd have trouble getting them now they circa 1982 vintage Citadel miniatures. They scrub up well for 36 year old miniatures.

I thought I remembered a few of them. I bought some of these back then, but they were stolen out of my car years ago. The realistic proportion of weapons size compared to bodies is something I wish would come back into fashion.

Those are some of my favorite orcs – the variety of heads they came with was a big plus – although some of those more realistic weapons were fragile. That was a great time for fantasy orcs and goblins – Asgard, Ral Partha, Grenadier, and Chronicle all had orcs nicer than almost anything you can get today.

Best time for ORCs and figures in general, so much more character than the plastics that followed,

Chronicle were my favourites :

The skulls were in scale with the rest of the figure, and having figure variation was a revelation at the time – a huge step forward. Nick Lund – a great sculptor.

I really love the painting on the orcs! I have about 20 pounds of these guys I've been collecting for years. If I could just find the wyvern, been looking since I almost bought it new.
I collected a lot of Nicks as well, always loved those minis. I have the chariots and most of it. I can't wait to start painting them now!
