I heard a rumor there is a version of Volley & Bayonets adapted for ancients. Anyone heard of this or know where I can find a copy? |

Is there an echo in here or is it just me? |

As far as I know Frank Chadwick planned such a version but it was never finished. |

Frank's most recent attempt at Ancients rules are called Epic Conquest. They're pretty rough yet, but I'll be running an Italian Wars version at Little Wars in the Spring. |

I have thought about using VnB for ancients, but I have never sat down and worked it out. I think they are an engine that you can use for just about anything. |

Frank did an earlier set of ancient rules called Chadwick Ancients IIRC. They were not related to volley and bayonet. Thee is a set of 30 years war rules for volley and bayonet and a ww2 version. Thee is a role playing game called Epic Conquest with anime style characters. |

As 79thPA said. Give it a go with DBA bases taking no of figures as basic strength and morale shouldn't be too tricky to estimate. Going to have to try this now. |
