Just seen this in an email from Modiphius.

Over the course of the year, we'll be officially announcing and launching the following sets:
The Next Generation: Away Team – the perfect set of 10 player character miniatures, with male and female Andorians, Denobulans, Humans, Tellarites, and Vulcans in 2371 duty uniforms.
The Borg Collective – 5 male and 5 female Borg drones.
The Original Series: Landing Party – a set of 10 player character miniatures for Original Series era players, with male and female Andorians, Denobulans, Humans, Tellarites, and Vulcans in 2266 duty uniforms.
Iconic Villains – a set of 8 antagonists from the series and films, brought to life in 32mm scale resin.
Both the Next Generation: Away Team and Borg Collective will be part of the pre-order in March from the Modiphius webstore.

You had until "32mm scale resin".

They mix ok with other 28mm figures. Check my blog entry here – link – for some comparison images.

Looking at your link, they are noticeably taller and have more natural proportions… so it is a bit of a stretch to mix them… but horses for courses and all that.

They look to be nice miniatures… just a bit too tall and skinny for my collection.

Surely too many non-Humans in the away team/landing party?

Especially TOS ?

I cant be bothered/am not sad enough to check, but of that list I dont think some of them were very matey with the Federation at that point, and Vulcans were thin on the ground [Spock being an exception who incurred paternal disapproval].

Hey, a Red Shirt is a Red Shirt, no matter if they are blue, green, or pink… ;-)

Andorians, Humans, Vulcans seemed like obvious inclusions, I'm a bit surprised about the tellarites though-they were rather short and had those beards-are they not going to be modular?

Denobulans is out of left field. I would have expected Bolians or possibly even Benzites, but Denobulans?

A decent start, need Original series Klingons. The film villains set begs for a set of Star Fleet in the movie unis STII-VI

Don't forget that these figures are designed to support their RPG game – hence the different races.

Original series Klingons are available in the Heroclix range – although limited to 3 poses.

Sorry the figures are too big and why too expensive.
