I own Baroque and like what I've read. Tercios looks interesting and I plan to pick it up as well. I'm hoping to base my armies to be used with both. Baroque recommends units to be based all on the same frontage (180mm in 28mm IIRC), Tercios uses different frontages for foot and cavalry (120mm for foot and 80mm for horse).

An easy way to handle this would be using bases with 40mm width and just creating units with these but I prefer the large diorama style basing. Can these rules be used with each other's basing without issue? Thanks!

You just change distances, moves and shooting to suit the bases.
Either use 120 or 180.
If 120, use 15mm distances for Baroque, as 120 is the recomended base for them.
