Agree with JAROVIAN, Google is not a good substitute. I'm still struggling to find a way to search for my own posts, and the posts by other authors I follow or wish to research. The best I've come up with is this to first conduct this Google search: site:theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv Then click "Tools" and specify the date range and change sorting to "Sorted by date". Unfortunately, it takes Google a long time to build the index, and I have no idea if they index everything. I can only find one of my own Feb postings, but there are dozens by now. The TMP search function works better to find postings by particular authors (esp. in reverse date order) than any other search method I've been able to conduct. This is no surprise: the TMP search function searches the actual TMP database(s) at the time the search is launched, which no search engine is going to be able to do. - Ix |
