Today, we had a game of Pig Wars, It was Phil (Norman D Landings)'s choice of game, and we were happy to oblige!

I have done a write up of the first game on my blog at this link

I hope you like it!

Pig Wars is a great game. For some scenarios, it works better than Saga.

Are these rules still available (preferably in hard copy)?

They can be purchased on War-game Vault here:

Our local group loves this game because of the possibilities for incorporating multiple players and multiple factions, with competing objectives.. Here are a couple of recent battle reports:

Thank you for the lead, Rick. I'm thinking about using the rules for 54mm ancients (Rome vs Gaul); would the work okay, in your opinion, with units half the suggested size? (10 foot and 5 cavalry)

A fun game that even I can run

Pig Wars would be the perfect rules-set to work out some side fighting from the Charleton Heston film "The Warlord". Hmmm….
