Google:

site:theminiaturespage.com/boards/ [searchterm]

Make sure there's a space before your search term (although try it both ways; sometimes you get different results)

For example, to search for me:
site:theminiaturespage.com/boards/ Schogun

Hits will show my name as an Author or Post or Title. Problem is, there's no order to the results. You may have to scroll through pages to find the post you're looking for (if specific).

This also works for News items:
site:theminiaturespage.com/news/ [searchterm]

I also just put in TMP [search terms] and usually get a decent result.

Without a category search on TMP, that's the only good way to do it (it's also slow as hell). Google's "other related TMP topics" option you're given has been really helpful.

Thanks, Schogun!

Was looking for a post about this problem, glad to find this solution.

How long has the search fault been a problem?

Brownand26 Jan 2018 1:56 p.m. PST

Too long

It's not down. Bill deactivated it on purpose. Or was it deactivated because it was down? Okay, now I'm confused.
