I was hoping to get a few (OK, a lot) of the 15mmm Traveller minis now made by RAFM, as I'm on a nostalgia kick. But US-UK shipping is ludicrously high now. Do any UK vendors stock these? I've tried looking online, and so far I'm drawing a blank. I'm hoping some knowledgeable soul on here will know if these are available in the UK.

Is shipping from RAFM too costly? Just curious. I know what you mean by nostalgia. I have the boxes for four of the releases from Citadel back in the day. Sold some of the minis and use the boxes for Traveller books and Journals.

I thought they were based out of Canada:

The ones I get here in TX always arrive in the mail with a customs sticker on them.

D'oh! Yep, you're right! RAFM is in Canada! All the stockists I could find were in the US, and I assumed RAFM is too.

Sorry, I shouldn't be allowed on the internet without adult supervision.

Lol. Most of us shouldn't be. :)

Some RAFM stuff is stocked in the UK, but the Traveller minis seemingly not. Maybe approach a UK RAFM stockist and ask? Can't remember the UK suppliers but have memory I found them through RAFM site.

They were originally a Citadel product. Maybe GW has something to do with them not being stocked in the UK? Just guessing not accusing.

Which explains the postage. :) Living here in NZ, I've priced items from the US and Canada; Identical items, and the postage was USD6.00 from the US, and USD14.00 from Canada. It's not *that* much further, surely? :)

Still I'm right next door to Australia, and postage for a similar item from there is USD18.00 or more. And it varies, but around about USD4.00 for similar sizes from the UK.

Utterly strange. Maybe Chap Fui Rider was right . . .

It's all confusing. But I've ordered a few minis from them, Alternative Armies, Dark Star and GZG. As well as a few I found on ebay.

So painting them will keep me happy for a while!
