Warlord have released a box of 1 special weapon dalek, 1 modern leader thingy and one modern thingy thingy.

I very much hope they do another special weapon release, as not only does this one come with modern thingys, but it is also different from the 80s special weapon dalek. It is missing a distinct band around the top, just under the eye holes(?) at least.

A further issue is these are all metal. Which is a good thing, I know, but I was expecting them to be doing hybrid plastic and metal daleks. All metal is better, but is more expensive. Well, to make, they would probably still slug us the same amount no matter what.

Views?

I'd be interested, but the Genesis Ark is specific to one story, and the Special Weapons Dalek is "classic series" and so probably too big for my smaller Black Tree Daleks.

[though I am aware the SWD prop appeared in the Skaro crowd scene more recently and so could conceivably appear alongside bronze Time War Daleks]

The price for these sort of box sets with three models puts me off..Im hoping Warlord will at some point do another plastic set of some kind. I was very happy with the Dalek and Cyberman plastics.
