Long time ago I ran a Back of Beyond game with Copplestone figs using Red Action Rules.

Thinking of pulling out the old box and looking for Rules ideas. I basically have 8 man units.

Suggestions?

Nordic weasel does a RCW version of his "hammer" rules which might be what you want. You can get them on wargames vault. Sorry can't post a link.

I've been thinking of using The Men Who Would Be Kings for the Mad Baron. TMWWBK uses 12 man units for Regular and Irregular infantry units. Tribal units are 16 figures.

"Setting the East Ablaze" Absolutely! Considering the larger than life adventures of the thoroughly Mad Baron, that is exactly the ruleset you need!

The Summer 2010 Special by the Lardies contains a scenario for the Mad Baron using their M&B rules.

The Contemptible Little Armies supplements work well with Setting the East Ablaze as well.

I've also been playing October Hammer and Trench Hammer which are fun, fast games (about an hour) with 6 man units, but lack the detail of CLA/StEA.
