The most frequently asked question is "How can I get information without either researching or paying the person who did the research?" (Yes, I'm guilty too.) And even though you didn't ask, the most frequent ANSWER on TMP is "you can solve your problem--indeed, ANY problem--by buying a copy of the rules I just happen to have written and/or sell." (Bill, you could fix this by charging such posts as advertising.) |

Also, for questions like … "I know these are manufactured by some companies, but I would prefer to scratch-build something similar. How could I go about it?" Even though it clearly asks how to scratch-build the whatever thing, and the topic is cross-posted in the Scratch-Building Discussion Board, inevitably a few manufacturers will try to sneak in links to their wares.
