I am detailing a 28mm US subchaser. Around the deckhouse is a canvas wall. Any suggestions on how to duplicate this?

Buy an old dress shirt from Salvation Army, stiffen it with diluted PVA or normal house paint . It will then be stiff enough to cut easily but still flexible enough to wrap around the posts of the railing.

Get hold of an old blue print, soak the paper off and you will have fine limen. Ideal for canvas at scale.
