Being the cynic that I am, I'm going to say that this is the air force's mach 2 jet jockeys' plan to wear out the airframes of the Warthogs quicker so that they can be retired sooner. |

We had A-10 support when I was in Kunar, in 2009. They certainly get the job done. |
