Painted over the past several days.

This was a really fun model to paint, details are really crisp and easy to identify.

I chose to do a kind of smoky, oily color scheme with weathered and dried-out wood. Trying to capture the feel of a well-used machine. I did the boiler and all the piping in a dirty copper color. I used a base coat of chocolate brown followed by a drybrush of copper, followed by a second drybrush of a slightly brighter copper/brass color.

The wood was painted with craft paint, a base coat of grayish brown followed by a drybrush of off-white.

The iron propellor blades and exterior armor plating were given a base coat of gun metal silver followed by a wash of dark tone black wash. This was then followed by a drybrush of lighter silver.
