Was the shako the main item of headgear for the Ligne Fusilier companies in the Winter and Spring of 1807 or were they still mainly wearing a bicorne?

I know that for 1805 the bicorne was still the main headgear for the fusiliers and that it carried over into 1806.

When did the shako start to get distributed to the fusilier companies?

Distribution began in 1807 but was not complete until 1809. (There is a famous quote from a French general about that.) Basic rule of thumb is to keep your infantry in bicornes until Friedland. Then mix a bit unless they are the units in the experimental white uniform who would definitely be in shakos.

The Bicorn would be the primary headgear. The units that received the white uniforms mostly would be in the shako.

Also heard they're planning an FoW mid-war tournament at DayCon.
