Hi all. Whatever happened to the selection of beautiful 7YW Prussian flags (inf./cav.) by Dal Gavan, that were graciously offered for use free on the 'Net? At one time, they were being hosted by "The Leuthen Journal" , but even that wonderful site seems to have disappeared? Any info on where to find Dal's excellent work on the internet these days is greatly appreciated. |

I have no idea those particular flags, but there is this, which you probably know about: nba-sywtemplates.blogspot.com I don't know if these might help you or not but they look really nice & they're free… Peter |

Thanks, guys. I am familiar with the great flags from "Not by Appointment", and have used some myself. Love them! But if I'm not mistaken, they are mostly French flags? I could only find the one Prussian flag there – Infantry Regt. 1? And apparently no new posts there since July, 2017? I appreciate the input, but does anyone also have any info on the missing Dal Gavan flags (which included all the Prussian infantry, but also the Hussars/dragoons/cuirassiers)?? While not "textured" like the impressive "NBA" flags, they were of a large size and high degree of detail, and I could add the texturing myself if necessary. |

Der alte fritz on this site has graciously provided a very nice tutorial on customizing the flags found on Project Seven Years War, kronoskaf. Take a look, very nice I might even be able to produce a decent flag. |

Many people have scanned the flags in my books and rescaled for their miniatures. Prussian Musketeers link Prussian Fusiliers link Stephen |

I appreciate the info summerfield but unfortunately my computer expertise is still wallowing about somewhere in the early 90s and my actual hardware is not far behind. Printing and resizing and all that wonderful technology is wasted on me. I was able to do one or two Hungarian flags but then I had a computer with a decent photo program. |

The way I do flags is to find suitable ones, from a variety of sources, then put copies into an Excel spreadsheet (four flags wide and 12 flags deep for my 1:72 figures). I can then print this out. You would obviously get more flags per sheet for 15mm and less for 28mm. There is more detail of this in my website here: link I don't bother to resize the flags, just save them at the highest resolution possible, then drag the images by the corners to the correct size for the box on the spreadsheet (if you drag by the corners then the proportions of height and width remain the same).
