phase 2 of my usmc landing forces now finished a semi scale helo carrier based on the various real ones as used by several nations so it can be used in other games.
it started out as a child toy aircraft carrier and was suitably modified with wood and plastic card. the helo's are diecast ones, now i have more helo's than anticipated so i may eed to make another! more pics here:- linkthanks for looking |

Cool! I'm working on two 1/72 Hobby Boss Phrog kits right now! Those toys look great. 1/72 – 20mm forever!!! |

Too true, I spent the day masking windows for spraying and filling gaps : ( I've chosen the scale model route for my project and I like having the pilots inside but it's a lot of time I could be painting infantry with..sometimes wish I'd gone with durable die cast toys resprayed to my liking (your Phrogs are cool but I need camo schemes) |

Made every mistake there was to make putting these together. However should look okay on the gaming table. Have a lot of respect for the guys that put these together perfectly. At least I learned a lot on these builds.
