When our house got flooded I lost everything I had on the DVR. But I wasn't going to let a little thing like Hurricane Harvey keep me from finishing Game of Thrones Season 7. So, now that we are back home and connected, between last night and this morning I finally did it. I am finally caught up and ready to join all the talk. :) Holy cow, what an amazing last two episodes! So sad about what happened to Viserion though. Little Finger finally got his comeuppance. And I got to hear Brienne of Tarth say "**** loyalty"! Dan PS. In a way I'm glad I never read the books, because I'm enjoying all the revelations. |

Let's hope Hurricane Willy doesn't interrupt series 8! |

I read the books. In my humble opinion the show is now canon. Sure, I'll buy Book 6 (this year?) and 7 should I live long enough. Little things are appreciated. Like Clegane's practical method of securing zombies on a dragon. Impale it on a spike! And only mischief can come from Jon Snow (Sand?) learning he is really SPOILER. |

I also just finished watching the 3 latest seasons some days ago. Pretty good. Although I do like the books better. Cacique Caribe, I suggest that you pick the first book (which is the best of lot, not that the remainder are anything reminding bad…) up and give it a try. Chances are that if you already like the show you'll get a big kick out of it! |

I did think of an A-10 though when the dragon hit that Lanister supply convoy. All good stuff. |

My only complaint is the brand new Interstate Highway system. |

The best show on TV these last few years. I wish these same directors, writers, and producers had made The Lord of the Rings. |

And it makes a fantastic setting for gaming. Just had a big Battle for the Iron Throne campaign at Siege of Augusta The Prince of Dorne is back on the Iron Throne (but we have our chance to knock him off at NashCon). But by all means read the books, they provide an even deeper setting and lots of information about the composition of armies for the various houses. One of the few fantasy authors who knows any thing about medieval warfare (Miles Cameron is another who does). Thomas J. Thomas Fame and Glory Games |
