I want to nitpick the hell out of that AAV. It's very good overall, but the tiny errors leap out at me.

;)

When I was in the Corps, 1988-1994 those were still designated LVTP7, We just called them amtracks. I think that turret came out as I was getting out, prior to that they had the .50 or the 40mm, not both.

That looks like even more stowage than the Vietnam-era Sheridan… (that is a good thing, BTW)

They only had the .50cal about 86 I think the dual cool turrets came out.

Here are details on the new British book.

It will add on to what exists in the Desert Rats book and replace it to a degree. However they are offering a little something to Desert Rat holders: bring in your book and they will put a stamp on it and give you a Churchill tank still on the sprue. I'm guessing that is about $8 USD-9 vehicle.

Here are the details:

What's in Armoured Fist?
Armoured Fist will introduce a number of new formations to British players, including:
the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry Sherman Armoured Squadron,
the Death or Glory Boys Squadron,
the North Irish Horse Churchill Armoured Squadron,
the 40th (The King's) RTR Valentine Armoured Squadron, and
the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Rifle Company.
In addition there are plenty of new support options that will help to round out your force. Keep an eye on the website as we will have more details in the future about what else you can expect to see.
The new Force diagram allows players to field these new Formations as well as all the older formations from Desert Rats. This means your Sherman Armoured Squadron can be supported by a Motor Company (found in Desert Rats). Rather than forcing players to dig through two books when building the army we decided to add the lists found in Desert Rats to Armoured Fist so players would have a complete set in one place.

Pretty neat. I'll grab this book for sure and claim my Churchill.

Yeah, same here. But it does pass the "2 foot" rule (looks good from 2 feet out). But don't rivet count….

It looks like a can of SPAM to me, so yeah, it will work!

The Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry Sherman Armoured Squadron

Why pick this for the Sherman Sqn for the book ?

Tgunner20 Jan 2018 3:05 p.m. PST

Why not?

why not ?

Well for one reason the 9th Armoured Brigade were attached to the 2nd New Zealand Div , which aren't even in the book !
