link Happy weekend fellow gamers, Fresh from the YG studios is this 28mm Woodbine Design Company British WW1 Mesopotamia battalion. A 2 Fig HQ, 4 x 8 Fig companies and a HMG base complete the unit. I have gone for a non uniform look reflecting the unit being on Campaign and under siege at Kut. We have just finished a WW1 game so these probably won't debut on table for a while but at least the lead pile is minutely smaller. Next up I have a 8" Howitzer to paint, no that's a big gun. We use toofatlardies "If the Lord Spares Us" which are not just another WW1 rule set but are specifically for Mesopotamia Palestine etc. They are actually a 15mm set which uses 2 figure bases, we just use them as is, with 28mm figures based individually. Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |
