As much time and effort goes into training a Military Working Dog, I'm not surprised. Especially the SpecOps puppies.

I mean, it's bad enough when a handler loses their partner when it's a single-purpose dog (usually a sniffer). The handlers actually have the opportunity to go to a different field after that.

I can't imagine what it'd be like for a SpecOps handler to lose their partner.

Every year we contribute to a fundraiser for Kevlar vests for our local police dogs. So this makes perfect sense to us.
