There's no knocking the skill of application but it doesn't look nearly dark and depressing enough to be Death Watch. The chains look a bit like Christmas decorations and the chapter symbols are far too bold. The black could do with being a bit less grey and there seems to be a bit too much (very bright) red. Extremely well painted (especially the freehand and the windows) but the composition doesn't fit the dour nature of the Death Watch to me. |

I don't play Warhammer, and don't know anything about the Death Watch, but the white chains and red and green badges and and bright red painted areas do give the vehicle a very Christmas-y feel. I agree with Insomniac on the skill of the modeler and painter. It's very impressive work. |

I painted a Death Watch Thunderhawk for my army. Its not nearly as well painted as this one on a technical level, but it is basically red, black, and steel colored with some details painted other colors. I agree that this one, while well painted, is too glitzy for Deathwatch. |

Death Watch Brother Nicholas, Santa Claus of the Sanctus Reach. Technically good, thematically terrible. |

Insomniac hit the nail on the head, GonerGonerGoner drove it deep into the wood. |
