Bravo! Are these for Shako II? How many Prussian units do you have complete?

Love the fusiliers. Only have a small selection of Calpe (some artillery and marching figures for diorama I showed here some years ago) but these remind me how good they are.

The top left fusilier reaching into his ready use ammo pouch is really well cast. You have made a great job of the musicians' wings and the highlighting on the shakos (easily overdone…I should know).

Good photography too BTW.

OK, good modelling, painting, basing, photos, posting……. but apart from that, the rest is mediocre

Oh to have a LOT of money and the eyes I had in my youth! ;)

When I first laid eyes on these Calpe miniatures I was working on the OB for the 1813 Prussians for a computer game (Campaign Leipzig). I just love these castings and the variety of poses they have.

Well done on the painting!

wrgmr119 Jan 2018 3:44 p.m. PST

HappyHussar, thanks, funny you should mention that.
I acquired many of them from gamers who had bought and did not have time to paint so 1/3 to 1/2 off over a 3 year period.
I also started painting with 3.0 reading glasses, my painting improved immensely.

Well done Wrgmr1, I love Calpe and I think they are the best miniatures in commerce.
Really like Shako II also, my favourite rules for big battles.
