Just saw that GenCon Badges have gone on sale. I'm sure the scramble for nearby hotel rooms will be next. Is it possible to stay further away from the site and drive in each day? Are there all-day parking lots? |

Yes there are several within the blocks around the convention center. They are a bit pricey, though. It might be cheaper to take an uber or lyft back and forth. |

parking around the convention center is pricey and fills up fast. If you don't want to arrive at 730 a.m. each day, there are also some satellite lots for a little bit less money but you'll have to hike a bit to get to the convention center. |

Nearby hotels sell out the year before it seems like. I gave up on parking and use lyft. There is also BLUE Indy electric cars which essentially have their own parking spaces. |

Schogun: Do you have an account on the Gen-Con site? Yes you can stay "further away". To save money it is advisable, but hotel rooms are filling up fast…and prices for them are rising. |

That's one reason I'm not going this time. |

We found a lot at the far end of the stadium where the guy sold us a weekend parking pass. It wasn't cheap but it was nice to know we had a spot so we didn't have to get there at 0 dark 30. |
