Experts have discovered an ancient prince's tomb in southern Siberia that may contain treasures or even an ice mummy preserved in the region's frozen soil…

I think I remember an old National Geographic article about the other kurgan buried nearby.

Is it in Siberia that Genghis Khan's unknown tomb is supposed to be or is the general area still inside Mongolian borders?

Genghis? I thought his body was buried in Mongolia.

Dan
EDIT
"After he died, his body was returned to Mongolia and presumably to his birthplace in the Khentii Aimag, where many assume he is buried somewhere close to the Onon River" (Wikipedia).

As for the kurgan (Tunnug 1) in the OP … I found this map.

I would love to know what the DNA analysis of any remains show. I'm guessing very well mixed.

I'm hoping they find the body still frozen and it's tattoos are intact.I had many of the designs found on an earlier discovery inked into my right arm, have a little space left so wouldn't mind getting more work done.

Lol. Awesome!
