Agreed the blue chosen makes a superb contrast against the colour of the arid, rocky basing. Really visually striking.

Always strikes me how much more spectacular than Ligne are the Legere, in a much simpler uniform. Maybe that is just me.

Great work.

May you throw many sixes and prosper with them

Thanks Liam, yes Ligne do tend to look better in my view too.

The blue is Vallejo Dark Prussian blue highlighted with Vallejo Dark Blue.

Just realised I read your comment wrongly Liam, but indeed I differ in that it's the bright whites look better to me than blues, Austrianophile at heart I guess… :)

I guess I struggle with white still. But I still cannot explain why, but the dark plain blue does it for me, once you add the cuffs, collar, epaulettes and fringes.

Thanks for the colour advice. I have both but never yet used. I have a few (4) very old and nearly empty GW bottles with varying amounts of black added and will need to switch.

Funny about plain uniforms. Kind of like Rifles against the ornate British Line uniform.

Really a great job! I'm struggling not to start again my Napoleonic and your production do not help me! I need to close first my GNW Project!!!!
