Although I've had a copy of this since the Kickstarter delivered back in October, I've only managed a couple of games.

Here are some thoughts about the game and how it plays…

I got the painted version. Obviously I've not gotten the painted planes yet, but looking forward to them.

When I finally got my copy of the game the aircraft models were only slightly wiggly…not the horror stories like in some photos we've seen.

I also got the large mat. My first showed up mangled and wrecked. I emailed PSC about it and they mailed another. It took them 3 tries to find a carrier who would take it (they email me again and told me that the first 2 sent were returned as being too large to mail!)

This one showed up in predestine condition. We used to play the original TSR version years ago, I think we'll try this one out next week thumbs up

I too have the painted version plus big mat and waiting on the painted planes. It was good to get a chance to play the game with Alastair before diving into the rules myself. It seems to me to be one of those games that is simple to play but hard to master. I certainly let rather too many bombers through…!
