Regular readers/fans/victims of my past comments will have noted I often pit out a dearth of items that fill the "Huey" position in SF terms – airborne gun platforms that also carry troops.
I have to say that many of the Shapeways talents have also found these lacking and are more than stepping up to the plate with items, both self-designed and inspired/copied/ripped of form other sources and are making them available. Covert Walrus There are a number of vehicles in the Gaming Models Steampunk Line that would work very well for more traditional science fiction. link
The first one has sponsons with weapons. The second doesn't have weapons but could have them added on easily enough. |

Shapeways prices are crazy…….needing 6-12 models for a unit…….even a token pair or three leaves a big hole in the defence budget!! I use these…. link Do you have the dimensions of the K1 LVT? |

One of my tasks from GZG is to do some 6mm Vehicles, initially scales of the new 15mm vehicles but he may want some others doing' possibly VTOLs. Won't be for some time as my to do list is fairly long. |
