Very nice, and I have a soft spot for the 33rd. Probably right about the Eylau story, but surely something happened for His Imperial Majesty to change course so abruptly. |

They look really nice! Had never heard of this white uniform but now I need to paint one. Do you guys know if any infantry regiments still wore the white uniform into Russia in 1812. I know that Napoleon instituted a return to the blue uniforms in 1807 after Eylau – but was wondering if this was followed 100% or if any of the regiments kept the white uniform into 1812 Any knowledge out there? |

Such an abundance of knowledge available in here that I will give my question above a second "go".. Is there any chance or indications that the white uniform was kept by some of the regiments well after 1807? |
