I have been pondering a Hatfield & McCoy skirmish game for a while now. I've found some figures from Blue Moon and was thinking about adapting "Mad Dogs with Guns" to fit the time period but I would love to hear what other rules/ figures options there are for this sort of game.

For the figs at least the Hatfield-McCoys were post-ACW so there are a lot of fig out there – for example Dixon, Foundry, Old Glory and Artizan Miniatures to name a few

Flying Lead from Ganesha Games might work. Generally 10+ figures per side. Uses the same mechanics as Song of Blades and Heroes.

Wow. I'd love to see that project as it takes shape.

Try Dracula's America. We have been playing the heck out of it! Great rules set.
If not that, Fistful of Lead. Another bit of genius.

I always thought this would make an excellent game.
