Very new miniatures, came out just before Christmas.

And I need your opinion on something, so check out the blog link.

They look great. As for the question that you asked on your blog, I would go with the four colors. You are already doing two colors, so the question concerning uniformity won't make that big of a difference. And besides, the four color unit will be something different for a change.

Very nice figures!

Great figs and I would go for the four colours – there are lots of units from the 18th century that had a fair bit of colour variability (not to mention different headgear as well)

Great work as usual. Regarding the unit itself you made the choice of half squadron for each parent regiment and the result is really nice. Following this pattern you will have a really colorful unit of 2 0r 3 squadrons….

Thanks, opinions seem to be split almost even between 3 vs 6 per colour, I'm leaning towards my original plan of 3 and 3.
That means, the next six will be 3 all white from Moscova regiment and white/blue from Slomensk, the next 12 would be green/red, blue/red, unknown(will probebly paint green/red) and finaly yellow.

That will be 8 out of 10 companies, I might do the last two companies later, but I'll probebly do a regular dragoon unit before that.

Truls,

Truls,

Great paint job! I have some figures on the way from Barry. Since the Russian dragoons regiments were huge, I plan to have eight three figure stands per regiment with one stand in each being grenadiers. Most of the field actions involving the Russians were before 1709, so any grenadier units for my BLB Russian armies will be ad hoc formations.

Keep up the good work. You always do the Warfare figures proud.
