On January 5, 2018, Amarillo Design Bureau completed its eighth wave of ships (61 in all, for over 450 available ships) in its store on Shapeways.

The Federation gets its fleet tug with two pods. They also get two fighters: the F-4 "Phantom" and the F-16C "Falcon." They also get their Shenyang F-7D fighters that were based upon the general admin shuttles. The Franz Joseph designs get two ships. The first is the Federation transport/tug with two pods. Especially exciting is the release of the fourth of the Franz Joseph designs, the Federation starbase in three sizes: two, three, and four inches. This is the official Franz Joseph design offered by ADB, Inc. under its contract with Franz Joseph Designs. (We plan to release all of the Franz Joseph Federation ships over time. There will be more tugs with no pods and various pods.)

A new line of "Fed Classic" ships was started in response to requests for smooth saucers. This line now has its fleet tug with two pods.

The Klingons aren't neglected. They get their D5B war cruiser and the aztecked D5K refitted war cruiser.

The Romulans add the SparrowHawk-A+ light cruiser, and SparrowHawk-C+ scout cruiser. The "+" indicates it is a late-war design in the style of the Starline 2500 Romulan ships. They also got their Tribune-D heavy fighter.

The Juggernaut fleet was built in another galaxy and sent to check us out. The Juggernaut destroyer should prove an interesting challenge for the Milky Way residents.

The Tholians add their phaser heavy cruiser. For those who use the pinwheel battle formation, there is a stand topper so you can add your war cruiser and variants to it. There is also a one-piece war cruiser pinwheel with standard war cruisers. They also get their Spider-III fighter and Spider-V fast heavy fighter.

The Kzintis get their battlecruiser and scout drone frigate.

The Lyrans and their wayward county of the Lyran Democratic Republic get their Puma transport tug with no pallets or pods. They also get the King Jaguar new heavy cruiser.

The Gorns show up with their G-18K and G-18KA "Serpent" fighters.

The Frax get the third of their submarine ships, a light cruiser to startle young Klingon officers when it fires while cloaked. They also get their missile destroyer.

Empires from the Omega Octant continue to have new additions. The Iron light cruiser is the latest addition to Probr fleet. The Drex get their patroller. The Trobrin get their Bolt frigate. The Maesron add a missile scout. A patrol scout joins the Koligahr fleet. The Alunda make their first appearance with their Huntship.

The heavy auxiliary cruiser (in two configurations) shows up to protect systems from raiders and pirates. The jumbo freighter and heavy freighter (stacked configuration) also are available. Finally, a sprue of six administrative shuttles is now out.
