Artizan Designs sells a unit of ten soldiers of the Soviet naval brigades during ww2. This 28mm set is sold for £ 14.

Once again we have "samey" poses. Look at the figure on the right in the top row and the 2 figures left and right in the bottom row, they are almost identical. Same goes for the middle 2 figures on the bottom row. It is a shame as the quality of the sculpting is good.

Each to his own, but it is shame they can't put in more variety. Other suppliers like Warlord can do it.

The rifles look like Nagants, so I would think of these as naval ratings pressed into service as infantry rather than proper Naval Infantry (marines, basically). The latter were usually armed with SVT-40 semi-automatic rifles. They also tended to wear helmets in combat.

At least, that's the impression I get from photos.
