Artizan Designs sells a unit of ten soldiers of the Soviet naval brigades during ww2. This 28mm set is sold for £ 14.

Once again we have "samey" poses. Look at the figure on the right in the top row and the 2 figures left and right in the bottom row, they are almost identical. Same goes for the middle 2 figures on the bottom row. It is a shame as the quality of the sculpting is good. |

The rifles look like Nagants, so I would think of these as naval ratings pressed into service as infantry rather than proper Naval Infantry (marines, basically). The latter were usually armed with SVT-40 semi-automatic rifles. They also tended to wear helmets in combat. At least, that's the impression I get from photos. |
