My gaming group, the Harford Area Weekly Kriegspielers (HAWKs), held our annual New Years Eve gaming event at my house. This year one of the games was a large one, using the recently-released Star Wars supplement for Combat Patrol(TM): WWII (http://www.bucksurdu.com/Buck_Surdu/Combat_Patrol.html).

See bucksurdu.com/blog/?p=7193 for more details and imaged.

Also see bucksurdu.com/blog/?p=7174 for images of another Star Wars game we played using Combat Patrol between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Both games were a lot of fun!

See link for more information about the rules, free downloads, and several play-through videos, including one based on the first episode of the Clone Wars series.

Right on! I also host a New Year's Eve wargame party. This year we played Napoleonics.

So did I. We played Bloody Barons, Wars of the Roses era rules.

Already the title of this thread is the best one of the year. It will be hard to beat.

Looked like a really fun battle.
