Coming from a Starfleet Battles background, I got used to all SSD systems being boxed, and labelled. So, I've tried out marrying the SFB format w/ FT's usage of icons, using Powerpoint and icons from this terrific site: game-icons.net, to recreate a Fed Consti CA SSD (I used the NCC-1701-A Silhouette & CA stats from Emerald Coast Skunk Works). A quick holiday project, more of a rough "proof of concept" – please see below:

The irony of this is that Full Thrust started out as a very simplified version of SFB.

Is that true about SFB? I have never heard that said before.

Thanks

the link is bad for me. The idea sounds neat though.

Dear Friends, thanks for the response – I will look for another linking source outside of Facebook. Aside from personal blogs or personal websites, are there other places on the web I could dump the picture to so that it can link easier to TMG ? Sorry am a TMG newbie ! Thanks !

Any image sharing site such as Imgur or Flicr should work. Just don't use photobucket, they've stopped letting you share photos unless you pay.

Dear Friends,

Ok, I'll try Deviantart, so here again is my SSD:

That's really nice. And thanks for the link to game-icons.net, that will come in handy later.

Looks very good.

Looks cool though when you cross out systems, having them all big black boxes might make reading which are crossed off and which, aren't more difficult than it needs to be.

Stryderg04 Jan 2018 6:37 a.m. PST

True, but you could circle them or use yellow highlighter.

Actually, it owes much more to Ariel's Seastrike.

Maybe a game simpler than SFB, I don't count it a version, but I suppose we can agree to disagree.

Agreed, domingojs23, as to handsome work, but ends a bit busy to me.
