Is this article saying that Japan is inviting China into a joint venture in Africa, because this might somehow get China to apply leverage on North Korea? So, they are going to reward China for not putting enough pressure on its puppet, North Korea? What am I missing here? Or did something get lost in translation? link Thanks, Dan |

Yep, invite China in on the projects and they might put pressure on NK. Seems like an odd thing but you might as well try everything before calling it quits. |

Lol. I couldn't have said it better! If someone was shooting missiles that flew across over North Korea, I'm pretty sure that China would be doing something about that, and it wouldn't be some offer to partake in foreign infrastructure projects. Dan PS. China has definitely helped make this happen:

Makes sense. China and Japan have far more mutual interests at stake. And having the NORKs put that at risk is just bad business. |
