I finally finished my land ironclad! I named her the Albuquerque after the one which features prominently in my latest novel, "The Great Martian War: Counterattack!"

Construction was pretty straightforward, except I substituted a Tesla Gun for the forward 7" and I made the conning tower removable for easier storage.

I then set up a small diorama depicting the Battle of Memphis from my book.

I bet that thing eats up the coal. Well done.

That's cool, Scott.

It reminds me of my Soviet T-35s.

That's a fantastic looking model! I hope it pounds those Martian invaders back to Mars.

Great Work! May the Martians learn how fast their tripods can run in retreat.

I just finished reading all three of your Martian books. They were fantastic, and a perfect read for wargamers.

I can't wait for the next one to be released.

Mike, thanks for the kind words! The next one out will be the spin off book, "The Texas Front", probably in late spring. The next one for the main story arc won't be out until late next year.

Gotta love the big SheVa** systems… Re-purposed coal mining rigs!

*SHEnandoa VAlley heavy equipment corp made the absurdly huge guns in John Ringo's Posleen War series. The grunts decided that naming them "Shiva #" was pretty good, considering that they were armed with 200kt antimatter rounds.
