Salutations, gentlefolk ! Am visiting friends over the holiday, and my host gifted my hostess (also a devoted gamer) a copy of this boardgame for Xmas. Yours truly, of course, volunteered to help try it out. We had a trial game on Christmas Eve – called when rule miscues exceeded remaining endurance points – another Xmas night, won by yours truly, who kept the Vikings to six of the nine cities they needed to win when the Treaty of Wedmore was imposed. Would recommend the game to people looking for a 'miniatures scenario generator' or a 2-4 player cooperative-combative game with VG historicity and fairly simple rules. Anyway, here are the figures included, photographed next to a mm ruler. Am wondering if anyone makes 12mm miniatures for the Dark Ages that might complement them ?
