I loved it! A fun exciting fantasy buddy cop film. Almost Shadow Run. Be warned lot's of F bombs, blood and a few boobies. |

A movie you can't see at the cinema – I don't get it… It cost Netflix $70 USD million to make. Compare with a theatrical release, with the expense of producing prints etc. that adds $50 USD million more that the producers don't have to spend. How to recoup? Let's see. I pay something like $11 USD/month. How many Netflix subscribers are there? And I only have it on one tv. I just Googled that. As of April 2017, it has 100 million. Multiply that by my $11 USD/month and 12 months. That's a lot of quatloos. And many homes pay extra for multiple TV sets. I spend more on Netflix than I do at the movies, and Cinemark doesn't serve beer. Oh sure, Comcast gets vig too. We always do. I sell a LOT of Comcast Internet to Netflix viewers, since DSL is just inadequate. "I don't have cable. I have Netflix!" I hear that a lot. I reply "And who is your internet provider?" Yeah. We used to throttle Netflix, but we kissed and made up and now are in bed together. It's now my most watched Premium Channel. I sold a half dozen internet packages this week, based on Netflix crawling on Verizon. By the way, you can't watch House of Cards or Stranger Things in the movies either. |

This also came up in my Google "research". Netflix is immune to poor reviews. It's most popular shows are stupid Adam Sandler movies. Bright on Rotten Tomatoes got 33% but normal people liked it 88%. It gets good word of mouth. I read scathing reviews, but nobody cares. Interestingly, Netflix can't be bothered to release ratings. I find that refreshing. PS. That is where Martin Scorsese's next blockbuster gangster movie The Irishman, will be shown. I can't wait. |

A quick question as a Brit, just how bad is DSL in the US that you have to do this (I'm presuming Comcast isn't a DSL service)? Over here, depending on the exchange the ADSL service should be 8-20Mb which happily copes with streaming services like Netflix. |

Our dsl through the local phone companies advertise 3-7 Mbps. The lines are so dilapidated, I have seen people getting 0.750. Our local phone companies are Frontier or Verizon. We also have others like ATT that use their lines. Families with kids playing games on line have a nightmare connecting. Comcast is cable, and I sell speeds from 25 to 200. We have had 200 in my area for about 3 years. Pittsburgh gets 500. It's just a matter of time until we get that. |

Just watched, and while it is not great it is good entertainment. I enjoyed it. |

Totally lame. Watched half hour before I had to turn it off. Some mash ups just don't work. |

Mediocre movie, but promise as a pilot for a series. |

Looks like an OK show, just watched about 40 minutes and paused it to type this. But now I want to find modern/fantasy mesh up figures like orcs in police uniform or elves in business suits. |
