Isn't that what the Black Stone ("Hajar Aswad") is supposed to be in Mecca? They claim it fell from the sky. And it wouldn't be the only time a meteorite was repurposed for worship or as a symbol. Dan PS. If you look closely, it actually looks like it could be more than just one stone fragment in there, embedded into the corner of the Kaaba cube:
