Here are my first attempts at painting Dropfleet Commander models. Apart from the red eyes, everything else was completed using easy techniques: dry brushing and ink washes.
They were a lot of fun to paint up! There are more pictures on my blog. (Stupid Auto-Correct! Changed Dropfleet to Droplet on me. So annoying!) Jeff squadpainter.blogspot.com |

Private Matter, Thanks for the compliment! It was very straightforward. The dry-brushing did all of the work. Jeff squadpainter.blogspot.com |

Hi Ragbones! Hey, I appreciate your thumbs-up. I think my favorite thing about them was that they were very, very fast to finish. I'm used to painting insignia, heraldry, shadows, highlights, faces, and all sorts of stuff. These ships were a piece of cake compared to all of that. Jeff squadpainter.blogspot.com |
