Why is she balancing on 3 rocks? Is there some significance?

A most curious sculpt, is she supposed to be flying?

At least this one looks like the classic Athena, chastely attired and no stripper boots.

Very dynamic pose.

And a bit odd.

Decent figure.

Hmmm… a little different from whats here in the Parthenon in Nashville katejohns.blogspot.com

Maybe she uses her owl to fly, kinda like Thor and his hammer (at least in the Marvel Universe…).

Maybe she's coming down off the last step from Mt. Olympus…? I agree with Shagnasty – nice, classy goddess.

Why must all gods and godessess be only for the "Classical" era? I would rather have had her, or at least a variation of her, for the Trojan War -- "Athena as Achilles saw her," as it were…

A thought… is this a one-piece-casting? If the shield at least was a seperate piece, I might be able to make a "conversion" to make the figure less "Classical" in appearance.
